Estonian Society for Immunology and Allergology (EIAS) was founded in 2001 by joining Estonian Society for Immunology (founded in 1984) and Estonian Society for Allergology (founded in 1993).
EIAS is a non-profit organisation and has approximately 90 members including both scientific research investigators and clinicians. The main goals of EIAS are to organize scientific meetings and courses, support of immunological education.
From January 2014 in Estonia there is full specialty for allergology-immunology. Postgraduate training in allergology-immunology is carried out under supervision of the Medical Faculty of University of Tartu.
